Disabled and severely damaged by the explosion of the freighter it had been towing, the USS Cygnus is left stranded in the middle of nowhere. With hundreds of casualties and just as many wounded, the ship will need to tend to its wounds and find a way to defend itself against approaching pirates, bent on getting their hands on the prize.
